Salvage something
Window kills and roadkills often prove to be valuable specimens. Indeed, the only New Mexico record of a Sharp-tailed Sparrow
is a salvaged specimen received via wildlife rehabilitators. Full instructions on salvaging specimens
and a data form are on our Collections Page

Donate to MSB Birds through the UNM foundation
We have established an endowment fund at the UNM foundation, but as a precondition we commited to raise at least $15,000 over the next
two years to get it started. Can you help us reach our goal? Proceeds from the MSB Birds endowment will fund things like student
research projects, field work, and collections improvement. Your tax-deductible donation will help insure the future of integrative
ornithology in New Mexico.
