Program Benefits and Requirements:

UnO pays students a stipend of $10/hr for 20 hrs/week during
academic semesters and up to 40 hrs/week during school breaks.
Stipends are paid every two weeks. Your start month and date begins

mentor on your project. Timesheets are required and are signed by
your faculty mentor.

UnO provides funds in support of your project, up to $1,500/yr for
supplies and up to $750/yr for travel, including conferences and
symposia to present your research results.

You must maintain satisfactory progress on your project as evidenced
by progress reports, hours worked on your project, and meetings with
your faculty and graduate student mentors. You must maintain a
minimum 3.0 GPA, attend regular UnO seminar classes (every Tuesday 4-5
during the academic semesters), participate in twice yearly meetings
with the UnO Program Coordinator, and complete questionnaires and
surveys as required.

As a requirement of the UnO Program, no employment outside of UnO
